I've Arrived!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bonjour my friends…
Well I’m here, and how lovely it is to be here too! David met me at the airport and it was every bit as emotional as the farewell at Holyhead. He whisked me off on a bus! to a hotel with no shower! or toilet! God he’s romantic in a cheap sort of way, but I love him.
Anyway this is the city to be in, we recommend this as a long weekend away. Beautiful architecture, narrow streets with arched arcades, which are bustling day and night. Cheap flights and the food..….ooh la la. The whole experience is revolving around great places to eat and drink. You’re spoilt for choice, ‘moules et frites’ gorgeous!
They have a mussel farm just outside La Rochelle which is about 8 times the size of a football field. We will be passing this on our sail to St Martin on Ile de Re on Saturday. We’ve heard it’s a bit of a party island with the boats squeezed into a horse shoe shaped habour, packed in five deep.
It’s been recommended by David’s stalkers (that’s another story that you’ll hear about when he’s gained some sea miles between them!) I’m really looking forward to this sail, in my bikini and no risk of frost bite Louise.
Will try and get some nice pictures of the scenery rather than of us just eating and drinking!
Au revoir
Debbie

I don't know so much about frost bite but I am suffering with a terrible case of rustiness at the moment.
Glad that you are re-united at last with Mr. Romance,, only he would know you would have no need of a loo!!
Enjoy yourselves and for goodness sake get David some chocolate he's wasting away to nothing before our eyes.
